Historical book fair and my latest costume – with a little competition

My historical romances The Moral Compass and A Pivotal Right are featured in the A Love That’s Forever book fair. You can check it out here for loads of novels priced at $2.99 or less.

I did a photo shoot of my latest costumes yesterday. Here are a couple of snaps to whet your appetite. Just for fun, here’s a little impromptu competition – try to guess the period of the costume pictured:

A: Regency

B: Victorian

C: Edwardian

You have until Saturday the 6th of October to send me your answer via the contact form on the website.  I’ll pick a winner at random from the correct entries and that person will receive e book versions of both The Moral Compass and A Pivotal Right.

Winning stories

As I mentioned a few weeks ago my short story, Seeing Him Again for the First Time won the RWNZ Chapter short story contest this year (insert excited squeal here).

I received my prize (a book voucher) last week and went along to the Chapter bookshop in Mt Eden. There is nothing nicer than coming home with a pile of novels to read. 🙂

If you’d like to read my winning entry and the other finalists’ stories you can in the 2018 issue of Liaisons Magazine. I hope you enjoy them.

LIAISONS-2018-

The day has arrived…

Today’s the day when A Pivotal Right, the second book in the Shaking the Tree Series, is available on Amazon. Yay!

002

Here’s the proof of the paperback in all its glory. At just over 400 pages it’s my longest novel yet, but I’ve been advised by those who have read it that it’s a real page-turner.

To those of you who have pre-ordered the e-book at the discounted price, thank you and I hope you enjoy it. If you feel inclined to leave reviews on Amazon and Goodreads when you’re done I’d be most appreciative.

Right, I’d better get back to writing the third book.
